NDP hit new low with Dion smear email

Just sent this to the NDP in response to their email titled Meet the new face of Liberal arrogance and inaction.

I’m an NDP member, and I see the need to distinguish our party from the libs and the cons. But come on, that email about Dion was just plain crass. That kind of negativity is going to turn off a lot of swing voters, and it’s plain uncalled for.

The “new face of liberal arrogance”… looked in the mirror lately?

Smarten up.

I don't know which was worse...

The typo "who's record" or the bizarrely funny juxtaposition of the article slamming Dion, followed immediately by an article saying "today Jack Layton offered his congratulations to Stephane Dion, saying that he looked forward to debating the new leader in Parliament to get things done for today's families."

I don't know whether the authors of the "e-newsletter" reflect mainstream NDP opinion, but they need to be spanked. I'm no fan of Dion either, but pointless mudslinging helps the party not one bit.
