The old men still answer the call
It had to be a Remembrance Day picture today, and I knew I wanted it to be of veterans. This was taken on Queen St., just west of Elgin, as the veterans paraded to the national war memorial for the ceremony.

It was hard to narrow the many shots down to this one. There were many fine shots of veterans socialising and enjoying each others’ company. But when time came to form up and march to the cenotaph, these men and women of valour drew themselves up and showed that they’ve still got the military bearing to do it right.
