Highway back in time
I am a city boy, and I've always loved the contrast of traffic lights against the indigo sky at dusk. I decided to stop on the experimental farm and take some shots tonight. At first traffic got in the way, and then I realised I was fighting something good: a second take on the highway photo.

I also like this picture because it goes right back to the start of photography for me. As I child I remember snapping a picture from the back seat of my parents' car (at the corner of Baseline and Richmond). With its deep red traffic light in front of the last glimmer of a winter sunset, I've always loved the photo. I feel happy to have channelled myself thirty years ago for today's picture.
