Ice dragon
Taken after the international ice sculpture competition at Confederation Park. The NCC continues to make it harder to photograph sculptures by putting poor backgrounds up behind them. Still, there is always some good photography to be had here. I went with Rich who had the idea to abandon attempts to capture the whole sculpture and instead focus on a key element. Technically, these pictures are a bit tricky because the lighting changes in intensity and colour continuously. I liked this icy blue version of the picture best.
