Main SkeyCalc Window

This is the main SkeyCalc window. You access this window by selecting a text challenge with your mouse and using the services menu of the application you are using. Alternatively, you can simply launch SkeyCalc and paste or type a challenge in.

Calculation results

SkeyCalc displays the response for the challenge and passphrase you entered. This response is automatically copied to the pasteboard. In fact, you can even prevent this window from displaying entirely, leaving the result in the pasteboard alone.

Keychain window for managing S/Key or OPIE seeds in your Mac OS X keychain.
Keychain Items Window

The keychain items window allows you to remove your passwords from the Mac OS X keychain. You have the option of storing items in the keychain, and if you change your mind this is how you easily delete them. The seed is the second part of the S/Key challenge, which changes infrequently. SkeyCalc knows which password to use by looking up the seed in the keychain.
